Will slowing down reduce pollution?

Emmissions from vehicles are a top concern for everyone. The law of physics called "drag" means the faster you go the more energy it takes to overcome drag. After about 45 MPH the increase in drag begins to double the energy required and more is wasted, increasing pollution by the same amount as the potential savings.
