This is one of the best-selling tires in its class. Proof of this is the more than 31M miles reported by users, making its ratings highly reliable. This also means that the current ranking of this product in the Grand Touring All-Season tires segment (19 out of 57) should not change much over time.

That said, for your convenience, we have provided the links for each of the categories below.

Overall Comfort

8.7

Noise

8.6

Its incredible ride quality and low noise levels are two aspects that have made this one of the most popular tires in the Grand Touring segment. Primacy MXV4 Treadwear Performance

Treadwear Performance Ratings

Treadwear

8.1

Another factor that makes this product unique is Michelin’s Advanced MaxTouch Construction. This technology allows for long-lasting, even treadwear which makes it one of the most durable tires on the market. In terms of durability, few tires will offer as long a treadwear life as this one.

Primacy MXV4 Warranty

Treadlife Warranty

6-year warranty or 60,000 miles (H and V rated), 45,000 miles (W speed rated), whichever occurs first. This warranty is halved when the rear and the front tires are different in size.

Uniformity Warranty

Complaints regarding these tires’ uniformity must be subscribed in the first year of use or the first 2/32″ of wear.

Workmanship / Materials Warranty

Michelin provides an amazing 6-year warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Moreover, it also offers free tire replacement for the first year, 2/32″ wear, or 25% wear.

Road Hazard Warranty

Sadly, none.

Manufacturer Special Warranty

This tire comes with a special warranty consisting of 60-day satisfaction (in which you can exchange the tire for a BFGoodrich or Uniroyal equivalent) and a 3-year flat changing service.

Tire Rack Road Hazard Warranty

On top of the tread life warranty offered by Michelin, this tire features Tire Rack’s leading warranty that covers refunds of up to $40 for repairs per tire per occurrence. Moreover, if the tire suffers non-repairable damage within the first 2 years, a refund of the original purchase price or replacement purchase price (whichever is less) will be made.

This is one of the best supported tires in its segment. Not only does it have an amazing standard warranty, but it also enjoys the special warranty of Michelin and Tire Rack which makes it one of the best options for family cars.

Primacy MXV4 Specs & Options

While this tire has many advantages, market coverage is not one of them. This tire is only available in 17- and 18-inch wheel sizes and 215 and 235 rim widths.

As for its UTQG, its 500 A A value is in line with a low rolling resistance tire like this one. To learn more about UTQG read this article.

This tire is only available in a few sizes, which limits its use on a large number of daily driving cars.

Primacy MXV4 Reviews

Given that this is one of the best-selling tires in its class, we are not surprised by the huge number of positive reviews.

Considering its small market coverage, the success of this product in the Grand Touring segment is even more remarkable.  There are several aspects to highlight from the hundreds of reviews made by drivers.

On the one hand, almost all drivers praise the ride quality. For the family car market, having a quiet tire is certainly a plus.

On the other hand, there is one of the aspects that most satisfied drivers, and that is the tire’s service life. A huge number of reviews are written by people who have used this tire for over 85k miles, quite an accomplishment for a tire with a 60,000-mile warranty.

All in all, in terms of driver satisfaction, few tires in this segment have the overwhelming approval of this one.
