Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Performance Ratings

Before we begin to discuss the ratings in each category, it is necessary to have a word about the reliability of those figures. The ratings are given by the users who have used the tire, which also report how many miles they have driven with them. Therefore, the ratings are more reliable as the total number of miles reported increases.

That said, the 400k reported miles of the Agilis CrossClimate are not enough to consider its ratings reliable. So, bear in mind that its current position of 2 out of 45 in the Highway All-Season segment is subject to sudden changes.

Now, to facilitate your navigation through the review, we prepared the following links.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Off-Road Performance

Off-Road Performance Ratings

Off-Road Overall

8.6

Dirt Performance

9.0

Sand Performance

8.8

Mud Performance

8.0

Rock Performance

8.5

The off-road ratings shown above should be interpreted in the context of a tire intended for commercial vehicles that are typically used for deliveries. In that sense, although the Agilis is not an off-road tire, it offers a level of traction adequate to transport goods on unpaved roads without problems.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Dry Performance

Dry Performance Ratings

Dry Overall

9.4

Cornering Stability

9.4

Dry Traction

9.5

Steering Response

9.4

As expected, the performance of this tire on dry roads is fantastic. Thanks to Michelin’s StabiliBlok Technology, the cornering stability and traction are flawless, even when the tire is under load. All in all, if you need a commercial tire with a predictable grip, this is an excellent option to consider.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Wet Performance

Wet Performance Ratings

Wet Overall

9.3

Hydroplaning Resistance

9.3

Wet Traction

9.3

One of the most critical aspects for vehicles that transport heavy loads is wet traction. In this sense, Michelin has incorporated a tread with deep lateral grooves that help keep hydroplaning at bay. If you are looking for a tire that gives you confidence when driving in adverse weather conditions, the Agilis CrossClimate will not disappoint.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Snow / Ice Performance

Snow / Ice Performance Ratings

Snow / Ice Overall

8.7

Light Snow Traction

9.1

Deep Snow Traction

8.6

Ice Traction

8.3

One of the biggest challenges in this segment is offering good traction during winter. Michelin’s SipeLock technology, along with its exclusive all-season compound, has proven to be the solution to achieving a commendable traction score on snow and ice. The Agilis is designed to provide adequate grip on light snow roads, even under load, making it one of the best options in its segment.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Comfort Performance

Comfort Performance Ratings

Overall Comfort

8.8

Ride Quality

8.9

Noise

8.8

One aspect that some tire manufacturers overlook is the comfort of work truck tires. Fortunately, Michelin is not one of them. This is an ideal tire for drivers who spend long periods on the road and who need a quiet and reliable tire that makes their work more comfortable.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Treadwear Performance

Treadwear Performance Ratings

Treadwear

9.3

Durability is key on commercial tires. For this reason, Michelin has ensured that the construction of the Agilis is as robust as possible. Proof of this is the CurbGard Sidewall Protectors that help resist damage from curbs in urban environments. If you are looking for a tire focused on durability under load, then this is one of your best alternatives today.

Michelin Agilis Crossclimate Reviews

As we mentioned at the beginning of this review, this tire has very few miles reported. This makes it difficult to draw conclusions or analyze their performance from the drivers’ point of view. Moreover, most drivers who have submitted their reviews so far have driven less than 12k miles with the Agilis CrossClimate, so there is no way to get an idea of its durability either.

That said, almost every driver has praised the tire’s performance, especially in cold climates where snowy roads have to be dealt with.
